While these 2 beds are basically done I just need to add a few more items to the one on the left. I did add more garlic in the one on the bottom but they haven't sprouted yet.
You will notice the soil is a little lighter in the newer bed because I used a different mix. And while I am still looking for the coarse grade vermiculite. I was still well pleased with the outcome. It really does retain the moister a lot better then the one pictured below.
The ideal mix is:
1/3 Peat moss
1/3 Compost
1/3 Vermiculite
But you know what? So far so good :-)
